PFC is already ahead of the movement, having released copper-free pads through major automakers since 2006, and are readily available for OE production. Without sacrificing brake pad quality, PFC brake pads are the most eco-friendly on the market and contain no harmful substances.
In addition to meeting all copper legislation regulations, CarbonMetallic® brake pads contain:
- No Antimony
- No Cadmium
- No Asbestos
- No Chromium
- No Lead
- No Potassium Titanate

Environmental Management Scope
This procedure applies to the Management Team and all supporting personnel at Performance Friction Corporation. All Performance Friction Corporation employees, temporary employees, and contractors are a part of the PFC Environmental Management System. It is their responsibility to monitor, update, and manage the system to align with changing needs, and compliance requirements, and to address any internal or external issues as they arise.
